Latest post ID in dc:post:title

Hi there,

I am using a raw content element to add the post title from a blog post on my page. I can do that by using the post ID. I did the same for exceprt, featured image etc…

My question is: is there a way to automatically pick up the newest post ID? I was trying this by making a shortcode for the post ID and add this into the code but that is not working. For example:

{{dc:post:excerpt post="[latestpost]"}}

My shortcode gave me the most recent ID, for example in a but is not working in this code.

Hi Kees,

Thanks for writing in! Your example link mentioned on your original post does not have any links. In the meantime, there’s no inbuilt feature or method to get the newest post ID other than custom development. However please note that, custom development is fall beyond our scope of the support.
