Last post does not show excerpt in the blog

Hi,

As you can see in our blog page: https://barmenteros.com/blog/ all the posts shows the excerpt but the most recent post. As additional info, this is the first post we’ve made with V2 Elements. We don’t know if it’s related to the issue but the fact is that all previous posts are showing the excerpt properly. How can we fix this?

Also, how can we add margin or padding ONLY in our blog page so the top bar does not overlap the content?

Hi,

Please update theme to latest version and see if that fixes the issue.

To add space on top to your blog only, you can add this in PRO > Launch > Theme Options > CSS

.blog .x-masthead {
  height: 80px;
}

If the issue still persist, kindly provide us your wordpress admin login in Secure Note

Credentials should be shared using a Secure note as advised. We do not check private message because we answer from oldest to newest in this forum. Your reply in the forum can be answered by any staff available as it gets on the top of the queue. Since I got this thread, I don’t have access on the credentials. I have check the issue regarding excerpt. I can confirm that using the builder excerpt is missing. Will add this to our issue tracker for investigation.

Hi,

Can you try recreating your post, create a new post and add minimal content just for testing and see if it is picking up an excerpt.

For the mean time I added a manual excerpt for that post.

Hi. Thanks for your help. We created a new post and no excerpt was added automatically so we are adding it manually. We don’t know if we are missing anything. Could you tell us if we are doing anything wrong? Best

Hi There,

That is actually a reported bug! hence excerpts and feature image are handled by WordPress natively, please continue doing the manual excerpt for now.
