Large whitespace at the bottom of the footer

Hi all. On https://patientsknowbest.com/ website there is a large whitespace below the footer on every page. I can’t seem to identify it in order to remove it. I have the latest version of Pro installed with the renew theme.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thank you?

Hi @lloydbh,

Thank you for writing in, do you have a custom footer built in Cornerstone’s Footer Builder assigned to your pages? There seems to be an orphan Cornerstone Footer on the page, I said orphan because the page is built-in Elementor.

In the meantime please do a testing for a plugin conflict, and also clear all caching features and minifying features the site might have.

If nothing works, please provide us login credentials in a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Thank you so much for the speedy reply. It threw me after so many help desks take so long to respond these days. I have run through the plugins on the site and it has not removed the space. We are hosted on Wordpress and so have to invite users into the team. Would you be able to send me an email address I can send the invite to at all?

Hi @lloydbh,

Regretfully, we can’t provide any email id, what w can suggest you create the temporary login URL and share it in the secure note to access your site.

On the other hand, I have investigated your site and found that the Search Modal is the reason behind your issue, and it seems you have to use the Elementor builder to create it. And also found that you are using the Hummingbird plugin for minification, which might be another reason behind your issue.

I would suggest you temporarily deactivate the minification plugin and check if that resolves the issue, if not please contact the Elementor plugin author on this case.

I have deactivated Hummingbird before and it did not resolve the issue. I will contact the company managing the Elementor side of things.
