Landing Page Side Bar won't change

Hello

My Landing page Sidebar menu will not change, I have:

  1. Dashboard >> Appearance >> Removed the login widget Buddy Press

  2. deactivated the BuddyPress Plugin
  3. Cleared all my cache and browser history etc.

My landing page is still giving me the following

The registartion widget should be GONE!!

I have several other people getting the same result, it is happening on Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE that I know of for sure.

I just wanted to do was change the title of the widget when I did that it work properly on all my other pages. . . just the landing page remained the same
