Landing Page Permanently Fixed Header and Footer

Hi,

I am working on creating a landing page for my website. I want to make both a header and footer rest at the top and bottom of the pages respectively and stay always visible and fixed. The content in between the two will be a slider revolution widget that I would ideally like to take up the entire space whatever it ends up being based on screen size. Basically full width, but disable any vertical scrolling. Basically I want the site to function like http://www.lik.com/ landing page, but I cannot figure out how to do this in XPro. I thought I had it before I switched. Any insight would be helpful.

Hi there,

You need to add the Header inside a Bar with absolute positioning in the settings. Then add the Revolution Slider to the page using the Cornerstone. You need to go to the Section > Row in question and enable the marginless and remove the container options:

That will give a section without any margins. Then follow the instruction below to add a full-screen slider in Revolution Slider:

Unfortunately, the Pro theme does not have a fixed footer functionality and after you do the steps above you will need to add customization using CSS code.

Customization is outside of our support scope but we will try our best to give suggestion to get you started with the CSS code.

Hi there,

Great, now as the Footer section is the only place that is not showing you need to add the class of the footer to the exception section of the Revolution Slider. Go to the Revolution Slider and in the Increase/Decrease Fullscreen Height (Optional) add .x-colophon which will force the revolution slider to deduce the height of the footer and make it show above the fold.
