Hi there,
I’m very new to using Cornerstone, and I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to construct a simple landing page for my website. My issue seems to be understanding the difference between the elements - section, row and column - and, therefore, knowing when to use them.
I envisage my landing page to be constructed of three parts - a header, a footer and an image. I want the header to be transparent, so that it appears ‘superimposed’ on the image. The footer will not be transparent. Using a Themeco page template, I’ve managed to construct something that looks like what I have described.
However, you can see from my screenshot that I have a faint ‘Choose a Layout’ box on my image, which makes me think I haven’t constructed this landing page using the correct process? I have only used a section, and no rows or columns - is this correct?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Andrew
PS. Obviously when I publish the page, that ‘choose a layout’ bit goes away, however I would like to know whether this is the best process for constructing the page.
