Keep sub menu of a vertical menu open while on sub page

Hello, When I navigate to a main menu item in a vertical menu, the visitor can see where he/she is on the website because the menu item is still highlighted in the hover(interaction) color. So far so good. When I navigate to a SUB MENU item, the visitor cannot see this anymore because the menu collapses immediately after clicking on the sub page.

So my question is: how can I keep this menu stay open? See https://bsjozef.nl/nieuw/

It is default nature and standard UI of the menu and submenu and that is how it has been coded. In case if you want to change it. It would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.
