JPG not displaying on page or media folder but i can see it in "edit". PNG work just fine?! Please HELP!

The issue:
JPG images not working and no preview but I can see them in the media folder if using “edit”.
PNG images work just fine. I’ve been through cPanel and set all permissions to 777 so idk what is going on but I’m dead in the water at this point.

This has been going on for some time so I did an complete reset of plug ins and database trying to zero out everything.

It should be noted that everything works fine on my Dev site but when migrating it over to the real domain the jpgs do not work. soooo weird

It might be the issue of file permission, please make sure you have set the “uploads” folder permission as 755 or 775. You may check this article to learn more about how to fix the media image upload issue. If it doesn’t work please contact your hosting provider for it.
