Jetpack installation problem

i can’t locate jetpack, it isn’t showing up anywhere, i got to install and am getting an error that the folder already exists. What am i doing wrong?

It looks like there is a failed installation of Jetpack. Please login FTP and under /wp-content/plugins/ delete jetpack folder. After that please install Jetpack from Plugins > Add new.

done and done - our core issue is the twitter widget which we have setup properly, and isn’t displaying as it was before jetpack disappeared altogether. See home page, first footer ‘HR Feed’
