Java Script error sind updating Cornerstone to Version 3.1.3

Hi

Since updating Cornerstone to Version 3.1.3 my website has a JavaScript error that prevents the site to work as before (e.g. my Fixed TOC, table of content, can’t be displayed anymore).

Any idea, what I can do to fix this?

Thanks for writing in! Could you please confirm that you have updated to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:
- X theme 6.1.3
- Cornerstone 3.1.3

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Yes, I have updated to Cornerstone Version 3.1.3

However, I am using a child theme of X-Theme (Version: 6.0.4)

Would you recommend updating the child theme to 6.1.3?

If so:

  1. How can I do that?
  2. How do I make sure, I am not losing the current content?

Thanks for writing in!

  1. Child theme’s does not need any updates. Only the parent theme needs to be updated. The Child theme inherits all the features of the parent theme. Child theme is used to override the functions and features of the parent theme if you have any.

  2. Please update X theme now. There should not any issues with it and no contents will be lost.

I had the same issue as Andrea. I only upgraded Cornerstone, and was seeing a JavaScript error that prevented AJAX from running on my page and in Gravity Forms forms.

After I upgraded both Cornerstone and the X Theme, all works properly again.

Just wanted to confirm my issue and resolution.
