Java Script Code showing on front end but displays contact form perfectly in Cornerstone?!?

Hi there,

Successfully used javascript for a 123 form builder on the website last week and it’s been working great. But today i saw on the front end it is no longer displaying the form just the code. Went into cornerstone to see what’s going on and the form is displaying perfectly on there with no issues.
Any idea what is happening and how to fix this as at the moment we can’t generate any enquiries at all until it’s resolved!?

Many thanks,

Stewart

Hello Stewart,

Thanks for writing in!

Can you please share the exact page URL so we can take a look at the form? I tried looking at the website but couldn’t find the form.

In the meantime please try out following solutions:

  • I see that you are using Autoptimize and WP Fastest Cache plugin. Please clear the cache and see how it goes. Also it’s a good idea to use one cache plugin and using multiple cache plugin usually creates lot of conflicts.

Thanks.

Hi thank you so much for getting back to me. I removed the form from most pages and swapped it with an old contact 7 just to keep things going. You can see it here

Tried deleting cache but no joy. If u can’t see anything wrong with the code i can try getting hold of the person who set up the cache and see if they can resolve things if you’re sure that’s whats wrong?

Hi @AllWaste,

Thank you for the credentials, are you referring to this code?

I see that code is added on a Classic Code Snippet and that element is what is for, showing viewers the code.

Please use Content Area or Raw Content element instead.

There is a problem clicking/inspecting that element, please use the skeleton mode for deleting that.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Oh my that’s embarrassing but thank you so much!! How on earth has it been working the last week and a half with a classic code snippet?!? Honestly we’ve had probably a hundred forms come through so they must have been seeing the form not the code and i was seeing it previously myself.
Anyway i don’t really care just wanted it working so not to worry… one of lifes mysteries.

Thanks again for all your help and have a great day!!

Hi @AllWaste,

Glad that sorted out on your end now, usually if something unexplainable happens like that, it is related to caching.

Cheers!
