Issues with Sidebars

For some reason there are a bunch of different sidebars added to most all pages and posts and they are all bunched up together.

Here is one example: https://soundshockaudio.com/hyperion-strings-micro-review/

I went into the widgets section and it showed a bunch of error messages.

How can delete all of these sidebars and just have one on my posts and pages?

Hi @dstro003,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems the problem is not related to the Pro, I would suggest you check once by activating any of the default themes like TwentyTwenty. If that resolves the problem, and the issue only occurs if the Pro is activated, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

NOTE: You can also try installing the Classic Widgets plugin, which shows the older view of widgets.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply here as well!

It looks like it is the Pro theme that is causing the issue. I activate the Twenty Twenty theme and the error wasn’t there.

Also, there weren’t as many widgets when I switched to the Twenty Twenty theme.

Help here would be appreciated

Hi @dstro003,

I have checked the Widgets through the WordPress admin dashboard, and it loads perfectly for the first time. And suddenly it starts showing the Error establishing a database connection and then comes back it starts showing the error mentioned by you in your post. It seems to be something with the Database connectivity, can you please check with your Hosting Service provider and let us know their feedback on this?

NOTE: The issue is showing every few seconds.

Thanks

I checked with my hosting provider (upcloud a vpn) and they said it is outside the scope of their support.

I turned off all plugins and turned them on one by one and checked the widget page after turning each one on.

It seemed to work well. I didn’t see the error message, but the only one red error message popped up on the widget page instead of many of them.

Not sure what else to do here.

any suggestions?

Hello @dstro003,

I have logged in and check your site’s Widget settings. I could not replicate any issue. This is what I am seeing.

You may have resolved the issue already. Kindly add a widget to your Main Sidebar so that this will display in your posts and pages that has sidebars.

Best Regards.

I can’t seem to replicate it anymore either, so I guess it was just one of the plugins.

Thanks for the help with this issue!

No problem, @dstro003.
