Issues with Latest Update of Yoast, it's not recognising anything!

Hi, I’ve updated Yoast on 2 of my sites and both are now not recognising any of the page content! I’ve checked to see if there’s a plugin conflict with the latest version of Yoast and there doesn’t seem to be. Is it compatible with Cornerstone now as it looks like that might be the issue.

I’ll put the URL of both sites in a secure note for you.

Thanks

Hey @core365,

Yoast SEO analysis is compatible with Cornertstone. But, there’s currently a bug where if a Classic element is present in a page, it disrupts Yoast SEO analysis.

I checked my test site and Yoast Page Analysis still works.

Please give us WordPress Admin access to 1 of the sites you posted so we could see the setup and the Yoast analysis.

Thanks.

Ah, ok, so that means I shouldn’t go updating any of my other sites, as all of them have a classic element because I use Contact Form 7 and there isn’t a new element to import it onto the page!

I’ll put the login details in a secure note.

Thanks

Hi @core365,

Some pages are able to analyzed, some aren’t like the home page. But it should be analyzed as it works just fine on my installation. I tried finding some hooked for SEO Yoast that will allow to directly feed the processed content to the analyzed but no luck.

Or perhaps your SEO Yoast update broke some data/configuration? I’ll continue checking and with Yoast, it seems un-predictable.

Thanks!

I really appreciate the time you’re taking looking into this, thank you!

I’m not too sure how I go about fixing the update as I just clicked ‘update’ as I do with any other plugin that has an update available! Plus it’s done it on both websites I’ve updated so far, so to me it doesn’t look as if it’s random!

I just hope there’s a fix for it soon!

Thanks!

You’re welcome, yes, I will be looking into this. Though, I could only add it to our issue tracker once I find something. Thanks!
