Issues with headers after update

Hi,

I had previously created a support ticket asking to help fix the overlap header bar that appears when you scroll down, and I was asked to update the theme to fix it. I have updated the theme and wordpress but the issue is still there. Please see the video attached in the secure message.

And another issue I have after the update is that I can’t seem to assign a different bar for the rest of the site. Some other bar appears and I’m not sure where that is coming from.
I would like to have the front page headers to remain as is (have a main transparent header bar when you access the site, but a solid white header bar when you scroll down), and for the rest of the site I would like to have the white sticky header bar. Could you please help with this? Please see the same video attached.

Hello @Nalwi,

Please edit your custom header and in your Sticky Bar element, set a Trigger Offset so that it will not overlap with the other existing Bar elements.

The offset can be greater than the actual height of the other Bar element.

#2 issue: I noticed that you have two custom header. Other other one is assigned for the Entire site. Please double check your priority number.

The Priority comes into play if you have two assets that might potentially overlap in some instances, allowing you to specify which should take precedent over the other. In these cases, the layout with the lowest priority will be used.

Hope this helps.

Hi @ruenel,

Thanks for your reply. I have followed your instructions for #1, but the issue is still there. Please see the video in secure message.

Hello @Nalwi,

Play around with the numbers for the Offset. Increasing it like double the actual height will adjust the show/hide effect of the Sticky Bar.

By the way, I also noticed that you have added this ID and Class selector:

This is not correct. When adding an ID, it should be unique and there should not be any duplicate ID within the page. As for the Class, you can insert any thing as long as it is an alphanumeric characters. Do not start the ID or Class with a symbol character or a number.

Best Regards.

Thank you so much, that worked perfectly!

Hi @Nalwi,

Glad that we are able to help you.

Thanks
