Issues with bloc editor (blog Posts, page, etc...) since update to 7.0

hi @christian

Folowing our last talk from Any issues with Wordpress 7.0

i have issues with :

  • Access to a blog post from admin for block editor ( Blank page ) [Edit : all types of posts are concerned too (page, etc…)]
  • Issue with appearance > composition ( Blank page )
  • Issue with the new Appearance -> Fonts ( Blank section with error message)

“Yg is not a function. (In ‘Yg()’, ‘Yg’ is undefined)”

  • Issue detected on “save” button in Cornerstone who encounter difficulties saving ( bug detected a few days ago and seems to have returned to normal for some time for not any know reason )

Of course, I don’t know if these bugs relate to the interoperability between themeco and wordpress 7.0, but what is certain is that everything worked in 6.9

I will be happy if you can check this et give me at least a diagnosis, and so much the better if relevant use cases are detected to improve PRO.

I will Put the secure note with the credentials in a few moment.

Thank you very much

Florian

Hey Florian,

You’ve shared a live site. We can’t investigate in a live site environment as we need to test Pro and WordPress only. Please create a staging site and provide the login URL. Please note that this issue doesn’t happen on our end also so this is unlikely a bug.

Hey @christian

You’re right, here the secret note with the link to the staging as a test environment. perfectly safe.

Please note that this issue doesn’t happen on our end also so this is unlikely a bug.

I understand. If by chance you’ll find a clue to resolving the block editor bug in staging, I would be happy to know about it.

Thanks for your help

Florian

Hey @Florian_FR,

The staging login credentials are not working.

Hey @christian

I jus tried from credentials i published in the secure note, and it work “first try”

Be careful to click on the full URL Path to access staging : https://www.staging.manga-tech.fr/service and not typing " staging.manga-tech.fr" from keyboard or it will redirect you on te production url and not staging.
as well, make sure that after submitting you’re still on the Staging environment by checking URL

the account effectively not exist on the production.

Hey @Florian_FR,

I disabled all plugins in your staging site and I couldn’t replicate the issue you described. Can you check and record a video of you experience them with all the plugins still disabled?

Thanks.

Hey @christian

Yes, you’re right !

i activated each plugin of the staging one by one to see which one causing errors… and nothing wrong happened.
Everything seems to be back to normal on the staging and the production too.

What kind of magic is it ?

Whatever you do, thank you very much to have taken a look !
Everything is back to normal.

I just have a few questions about the Theme PRO and WP font managers and their way of working together, but i will create un new topic for that.

Thanks again, have a good day

Florian
