I copied my site using the Duplicator plugin and upon restoring to a staging area, I am unable to access the theme to edit pages. I have tried going to settings->permalinks and selecting posts and saving. I have also tried renaming my .htaccess file on the server. Neither of these options were successful. Are there any other available remedies?
This turned out to be a new server install and the issue was that I had not enabled mod_rewrite on the new server. Enabling that fixed this issue.
