Issues Saving or uploading to Media library

We are having issues saving and uploading new content to the website.

Example when you reach the media library, it endlessly spins, and when you refresh, it logs you out. See screenshot: https://share.zight.com/X6uXpmwv

Also if you try to update a page it will logout.

Can you help us resolve this?

We have tried plugin updates, and looking for plugin conflicts but have had no success to resolve this issue.

Hello @whittenlublin22,

Thanks for writing to us.

Thanks for checking the plugin conflict, it might be the issue of version compatibility issue or cache issue. Please make sure your theme, plugin, and WordPress version are updated as per our version compatibility page. I would also suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings. If it doesn’t work, it would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

I added a secure note

Hello @whittenlublin22,

It seems that there is an issue with WordPress core I would suggest you please update your WordPress version and theme and then check for sufficient permission of the WordPress file. If it doesn’t work for you please share the FTP login details so we can check it on our end.

Thanks

This still is not working. See this screenshot: https://share.zight.com/bLuQXXpP
I try to save the page and it fails.

Hey Maria,

We cannot check your website so due to the security issue. I highly suggest that you disable the restriction while we are still checking on your website.

Thank you.

I turned the WAF off, can you try now?

Hey There,

I have logged in to your site and I cannot replicate the issue. I was able to upload an image with no issues.

Please see the secure note below.

Thanks.

That is not the issue, see this screenshot I sent

Hi Maria,

I have checked the page and it worked fine and saved successfully. I have also created a test page and worked perfectly fine. If you are facing a problem with a specific page, there might be some issue with the content of that. I would suggest you delete the section one by one and check if the issue is resolved. The last one you deleted before the fix is the actual issue.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

I change the name here: https://share.zight.com/bLub19Gp

Then save, and I get this error: https://share.zight.com/OAuZ0XL0

Hi Maria,

I have checked the page you mentioned and found the issue. But every time any changes were made, it got logged out, and need to log in again to check. I would suggest please copy your live site to a staging server so we can troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

I have provided staging details in the secure note.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Hi any update?
