Hello,
I have Relevanssi search installed and it doesn’t seem to be able to find content located in an accordion. How to get this resolved?
Hello @lorax,
Thanks for writing in! Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:
- X theme
7.2.2 - Cornerstone
4.2.2
This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).
After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Please let us know how it goes.
Sorry - this is for a client using Pro not X. It is up to date v3.2.2. Where is the content for the accordion actually kept? What table in the database?
Hi @lorax,
The content of the Cornerstone is kept inside the normal WordPress posts that are available by the_content() function. There is additional meta information that is kept inside meta_options table.
Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third-party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
HI Christopher,
I’m not asking for you to support their plugin but if the Pro theme does not make content available to be searched then this is a problem with your theme and should be addressed. I am working with the plugin author which is why I asked about what tables hold the actual content.
Also I’m working with PRO not X. And the content for the post shows only shortcode!
With the help of the plugin author we were able resolve the issue so for the sake of other Relevanssi & Pro users, what we had to do was to enable the switch in Relevanssi to search all custom fields (found under the tab Indexing - after the option to index comments). Works fine now.
