Issue with Pro where Preview not Matching Live site

I had a client make some changes, and need to correct them. I am in cornerstone, and when viewing the editor the page looks fine. But when I go to view the live site there is a few discrepancies. I also see that some of the auto generated CSS is being over ridden.

Is there a way to correct this? Since its auto generated how can I access that?

Thanks for reaching out.

This looks like host cache related, and if you’ll check in the builder, the admin bar is even there with missing icons. The font weight is configured in 400 in the builder, but on live it’s 700. Hence, I’m not sure if which is being pulled from cache, 400 or 700. Perhaps you can create a Godaddy staging where no active cache? That’s just for font weight, there are other settings too.

I have flushed cache, cleared browsers. But still the issue persists.

I have a staging site and the same issue persists. The missing Icons in the builder happen with all my instals of Pro with showing the WP menu bar active.

If you inspect the code you can see that one style is overriding another. But I cannot access it since its not added manually. Is there another way to clear it or access the CSS?

I can even add a new headline, and use the preset “about name” and give the same style as “charles” but and looks correct when viewing but as soon as I delete the old one it changes back as it is now…

Hi There,

I imported your page content and header on my dev site and the issue is not happening in there. Would you mind doing a plugin conflict test? You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. And before you do this, please Clear and Deactivate all your caching features.

Nope, no conflicts.

But I did recreate the page and have it working.

But still the issue with the missing icons remain.
