I have an inline menu in my header but the drop down is not working.
Please help
Can I have an update on this please, it is affecting a live website!!
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the sub-menu is there but it might be something that overrides the z-index value or other attributes which is the reason behind your problem. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Hi, all plugins are required for website function. I cannot just start disabling them also as the website is live and has constant users. Please can you investigate the root cause
Hi Matthew,
If that is the case, I would suggest please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Thanks. Added details of staging/test site
Hello Matthew,
Set your Bar element’s Height to auto
.
You can add some margins or padding to the Navigation Inline element’s Top Links if you want your menu items to have a wider or bigger click area.
Best Regards.
OK that worked! Thanks for your help
Hi Matthew,
Glad that we are able to help you.
Thanks
