Issue with Accordion and iOS 12.x

Hello,

I use Cornerstone and Accordion. Your Theme and Wordpress are up-to-date.

Using Accordion Classic
When loading the page on a iPhone with iOS 12.x (Safari) and I have preset that the accordions start open, I get the content not loaded in the item, but in the background of the accordion content box.
If I reload the page, then it is working.

Using Accordion (not classic)
When loading the page on the same browser on the iPhone, all accordions are closed, even I choose “start open”
I have to click the close button of the element and then open again.
Reload of the page is not successful.

Any ideas?

Hey Philipp,

I checked the site registered with your license and I saw a page with accordion but it’s using a Classic Accordion. Would you mind posting the URL with the non-Classic or V2 Accordion so we could test it?

Hi Philipp,

I checked and can see you have w3 total cache installed.

Can you try clearing the cache of your w3 total cache plugin then deactivate it.

This is just for testing so we can narrow down what is causing it.

After testing, you may activate it back again.

Please make sure to exclude the following files from minification

wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist/js/site/cs-body.js
wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist/js/site/cs-head.js
wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist-app/js/cs-vendor.js
wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist-app/js/cs.js
wp-content/themes/x/framework/dist/js/site/x.js

it did not help. It was just a thank you for supporting me.
I thought you want to test something now.

So…we still have the same issue on iPhones with iOS 12.x

Hello Philipp,

After clearing your cache, you must clear your iPhone’s browser cache as well. If possible, use private browsing mode in testing your site with you iPhone’s Safari browser.
