Hi, I’m having issues with adding images to products in Wordpress. Wordpress is not allowing me to save the changes when adding images.
Hi @paullalley,
That part on the admin is a wordpress core functionality.
First: You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Second: If this is not an issue coming from a plugin, you might try to reinstall wordpress core. Please save a backup before doing this.
Let us know how this goes.
Hi @lely, I turned off all my plugins and could that it was ACF that was preventing me from clicking the “Update” button and the new content being saved.
As ACF is part of Pro package, can you please check with your partner to see why this would happen and see when an update is coming.
The only work around I have right now is turning off ACF to update the products and then turn it on before going live.
I believe this is a temporary fix.
Hi @paullalley,
Is the version if ACF active on your site version 5.8.9 because that is the supported version of ACF support by X and Pro.
We can have a look into your site. Please provide us with the admin access to your site in a Secure Note:

Hi @paullalley,
I see you used the ACF to add new multiple fields on the product posts, and most of those fields are set to required. Please make sure all those required fields are fill-in.
This will prevent you from saving the product post.
Thanks,
Thanks, sorted. Totally missed it!
We are delighted to assist you with this.
Cheers!
