Issue After Migrating from Staging Site in Pro

Hi there,

I am getting the following error when editing all headers (x3)…

Content + Footers work without this issue. And they were created in the staging environment too, which is strange since it is only affecting headers.

I have tried duplicating the Headers as a workaround but these are affected too.

Any suggestions here?

Thanks.

Hey @kademcconville,

Please try resetting the Permalinks.

If that won’t help, please give us the following info in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password
  • FTP access

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Hey there,

That didn’t work unfortunately.

I will update secure note :+1:

Hi @kademcconville,

You’re website is still using some of the staging URL, I suggest that you change the staging URL to production URL. You can use the plugin below.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hi,

I have tried that, but even when replacing the URLs, the same issue exists.

It appears to be a bug in Pro, as there are no existences of the staging URL left in the database. Again, Footers and all other content works fine, and these were last edited on the staging environment too see.

Regards,
Kade.

I have noticed that the Preview URL ending “/shop-2” is a WooCommerce shop page that no longer exists. It is now simply /shop".

I changed the files in the wp_post database table. Working now! :slightly_smiling_face:
