Is this menu possible with x pro?

hi i got a question about the menu of this site:

http://www.leithaberg.at/

is this possible with x pro header builder?

and a second question: is it possible to make a flyout menu from top? i try to describe it:
i have a 2 bar header:
bar1 is hidden
bar2 with logo and button is shown.
when button got clicked or mouseover, bar1 will fade in will push bar2 down the size of bar1.
or is this possible with superfly or any other plugin you know?

thanks in advance for your help.

cheers

Hi Harald,

Thanks for writing in! The basic functionality of the menu is possible out of the box. Please check the following tutorial to understand it better (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7QYFLfjPxQ). Also here’s another tutorial to see what’s possible with Pro header builder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jev9_-wE72s). If you’re looking for that changing effect when loading the page, it is technical possible with some custom CSS and JavaScript.

Also with your second request, it is technically possible with some custom JavaScript but please note that custom development is outside the scope of our support.

Thanks!

hi,

so i tried to archive the header from the first site i posted (leithaberg.at)
i got quiet close. my problem is the white background on scroll.
i cant get it done right,
atm the 3rd bar “waits” under bar 2 and when bar 1 is there, bar 3 and 1 are sticky.
i want the whie background when i scroll because of the content of bar2.

can you pls help me out? i write the credential in the secure note.

one more thing: i had to split the menu to menu_left and menu_right because thre should be the logo in the middle.
but now i have a problem with the onepage menu. it does not work anymore…

many many thanks in advance

hi,

i found the answer for the white background on scroll on the forum in this thread:

but still have problems with my onepage menu since i splitted it in two section.
the navigation works but all links are colored in the interaction color. and when i click on the logo, the page should scroll up to the top. but it seems that it does not scroll 100% up because the background is white instead of transparent and the bar is still shrinked. i use #x-root as top link because of the smooth scroll. any other link i should use?

any help would be great!

thanks in advance

Hi Harald,

*Update, thanks, I saw your last reply after I posted mine. Glad this is sorted out.

i want the whie background when i scroll because of the content of bar2.
When I checked, I can see there’s white background on scroll already:

Form your latest reply, I now understand the issue. Please see this thread as guide: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/one-page-navigation-nav-links-staying-active-at-all-times/21354/2

Hope this helps.

hi lely,

thanks for your help.
i changed the links. now it is ok when on top, but when i scroll down, all menu items go active again.
please remember i have 2 menus because i had to split it for the logo in the middle.
in the page settings i can only select ONE menu for the onepager?

my second problem is
when you scroll down and click on the logo, it is not 100% on top. ist this because i use #x-root for the top link?( i want that because the smooth scroll effect) is there a workaround for this?

thanks again for your awesome support!!!

Hey Harald,

The menu items changes color when you scroll because you have this code in Theme Options > CSS. Please remove it.

Since you’re using Pro, the One Page Navigation setup is not applicable to you. It’s only for X or the Classic Header. We’re sorry for the confusion.

Linking to #x-root is fine. For the bar to unshrink or go back to full view, it requires the scrollbar to scroll to the very top. Since you have the Admin Bar active, it’s not possible for the bar to go all way to the top. There is no solution to the logo scroll but to disable the Admin Toolbar in Users > Your Profile. This is not an issue if you’re logged out also.

Hope that helps.

hey christian!
