Is there any update to solving the 'Yoast error text contains 0 words' issue?

I decided to move back to Yoast from RankMath and after doing all that it will not detect the text.
This basically renders the most popular SEO plugin useless for Cornerstone users.
Is it possible get an update on the situation with resolving this?
If it is going still going to take some time I will go back to RankMath.
Thank you.

Hi Edward,

Unfortunately, there is no news on this issue till now. I will check with our development team on this and let you know.

Thanks

I took a deeper look and determined a couple of issues. I don’t think our shortcodes are sending enough data in our shortcodes to render properly in yoast. Which has been a problem, but I don’t think our yoast plugin on top of that has been helping. You’ll probably notice if you reload the page a bunch on the WordPress edit page, it sometimes does give you results. Although it misses content.

During this month I’ll try to release a fix to address this. You might have to resave a page in Cornerstone to get Yoast to work properly after that update, but I’ll keep this thread updated on how we are going to go about this. Have a great day!

Hi Charlie, thank you for the info.
You are right that after several saves and and reloads of the page in WordPress it does now pick up the text.
And as you say it is missing some data.
It seems it is not picking up the ‘key phrase in introduction.’
It also does not see the featured image on the header.
It does see other images if I add them.
I have attached a grab of that.
I will stick with Yoast for now in the hope that the issues are not too complicated to fix and those get rolled out this month. Screen Shot 2023-09-13 at 12.31.19|453x499

Hi Edward,

As my colleague Charlie says we are working on it and will try to release the fix by this month.

Thanks
