Is jquery required for frontend?

Hi, I’m using Pro themes and am wanting to speed up front end loading. Is jquery needed for the front end? Or can I disable it?

Yes, jQuery is required to lead some frontend layouts. Website speed performance depends upon many factors fr example.

  1. Choose a better web hosting provider
  2. Reduce image sizes
  3. Minify JS and CSS files
  4. Use advanced caching mechanisms with a caching plugin
  5. Use a CDN
  6. Cleanup WordPress database etc.
