Is it possible to never have the Navigation Collapsed happen?

I’d like to test changing my header to never offer the Navigation Collapsed (a.k.a. the hamburger or three dots). Instead, I’d like to list out the top-level nav items.

I know some people think the Navigation Collapsed is a better user experience. I’m not convinced. I’d rather run an actual test to see if people can better navigate my website on mobile without the navigation being collapsed.

I looked but could not find any information on how to change the site to do this.

Could you please help?

Thanks.

Hi Justin,

Thank you for writing in, yes that is possible with a custom header built-in header builder. Please see the following documentation.

Header and Footer Builder Overview

Your current header is the standard header which is not possible to remove the Navigation Collapsed. I understand what you’re trying to do with your inline navigation, but with the length and numbers of your menu items, it will be tricky to fit all those items on narrow screen devices (tablet/mobile). Inline Navigation looks good on paper, but the problem is how will you fit those items on a narrow screen devices, its either you made the text small or wrap/stacking the menu items (which are not good for mobile user experience)

Cheers!
