Hi there. I wondered if it’s possible to dynamically change a section of page content when the user clicks? I’ll send the page link in a secure note, if you could take a look and advise, I’d be grateful. I’m comfortable with HTML, CSS and JS, so I don’t need any paid help - if I was hand coding this example, I would have a target div that was overwritten each time it needed to be , with the JS pulling the new content from an object. And I presume I could technically do the same thing here, but I wondered if there’s a more straightforward way to do it as I’m trying to work as much within the PRO architecture as possible, and customize to a minimum, so that when I hand this over it is easy to update.
On the page I’ve sent, you’ll notice an itinerary section towards the bottom. This can be typically 10-14 days long, with each day having some text, a title, a main image (lightbox) and some smaller images (also lightbox).
Above this are two tables of tour dates, around 24 in total. It would be great to have the itinerary update when the user clicks a new tour date from the table.
If there’s anything that could mimic this behaviour built in, plug ins or workarounds you know of, please let me know. I suppose in an ideal world I could build the sections by hand and then just have them pulled in, rather than looping through an array of itineraries and trying to write the coding of each section each time the user clicks.
Now I have got my head around how the builders work I’m getting to love the theme more and more, and the support is really helpful. Keep up the good work!
