Is it possible to limit the number of characters in your title using dynamic content?

I am using dynamic content and what I want is that when someone puts a very long title there is a brake and so the title does not damage the design of my Blog Archive. I am looking for something like this: {{dc:post:title maxlength=“3”}}

Is it possible to do this with Cornerstone? And if not, do you know of a way to do it?

Hey Ignacio,

You currently can’t. But, you can limit the Headline element text on one single line by selecting the Ellipsis Text Overflow option coupled with a limited Max Width.

I’ll list this case as a feature request to have an option to limit text in the Dynamic Content.

Hi and thanks Christian, the problem with this is that I can’t define how long I want my titles to be. In this case it seems to me that it cuts them too short.
