Yes, this is doable by using Revolution Slider then adding the slider content as a text layer and setting the slider as the page slider in the page settings if you are using X 5.

Then place this code in the custom CSS:

.x-navbar {
    border: 0;
	    box-shadow: none;
}

.masthead {
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    left: 0;
    width: 100%;
}
