Is it possible to have text next to an image and both be centred horizontally and vertically?

Hi, I’m working on a site and I’d like to have a line of text next to a logo, so it’s side by side, not in different columns and for them to be centred both vertically and horizontally. I had a go myself but couldn’t figure it out! I’ve done a mock up to show you what I want to achieve (the red logo to the left of the black text, all on the same line).

I’ll put the URL in a secure note as it’s on a temp domain.

Thanks!

Hi @core365,

Thanks for writing in!

You can use the Social element to make a similar layout.

You can choose the image and enable text in the social element.

Remove margin padding and box shadow, also the height width.
You can play with the setting to make it perfect.

Hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for that! I also want to be able to include icons within the secondary text, but I’ve tried to use [x_icon type=“phone”] and it just displays the code instead of the icon!

Thanks!

Hi There,

Yes, the Social element is not designed for a shortcode content, please use the Headline element instead. It also has the Graphic setup option so you can add an image next to it and it accept the icon shortcode.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Great stuff! I didn’t realise you could add a graphic to the headline element before!

Thanks!

Glad we were able to help
