Is it must to renew License after 1 year?

I’m asking this as I don’t think so my blog will able to earn money in the first year so is it a must to renew the license every year? Will I able to use the theme without a license after a year?

The X license you have will not expire and yes, the theme can still be used without a license but you will miss the updates.
