I’m having a serious issue with the latest updates of Pro. Since I updated Pro, it will sometimes get stuck in the saving progress (editing a page or theme option). Result: an IP ban of the provider, because the provider sees it as an attack (‘more than 5 contactform requests in short time’). They’d to remove me from the ban list a couple times last days. It’s extremely annoying.
Is there a way to prevent Pro from getting stuck in the saving progress?

Thanks for reaching out.
The banning is your hosting provider’s feature, it can’t be overridden by any code once banned as the requests will not go through. Perhaps they can provide the reason for banning? Some hosting limits it about 20 or 40 requests especially for shared hosting. You could try it on another host just for testing.

I will contact my host tomorrow morning. I switched hosts last month. I taught the last update was causing the IP ban, because Pro stopped working while saving. Thanks to your reply I realized that it never happened at my previous host.

I was editing the contact page, but never tested any contact form because I don’t simply have one yet. So, in my opinion saving the page more than four times in one hour caused the IP ban. What do you think?
And do you think the best option is to run away as fast as I can from this host or does it happen more often?

It might be there are the spambots which crawled the contact page to find all the contact forms.
Could you please add a form to your contact page then also insert the captcha to see if it fixes this issue?
