Invalid scrollspy selector cs-body.js:1 CORNERSTONE

HI

Just to advise that since the recent update, I have been having slider issues, especially with sliders not sliding, have deactivated layerslider and then used your shortcode, again, not working.

Any ideas how I can sort this issue, as a possible NEW CLIENT wants the X theme and I will no doubt come across this same problem.

Many thanks

Hi there,

We’d be happy to help you look into any issues you’re having.

  1. It looks like you may have imported the demo content quite some time ago and never updated your background image. That error has likely been happening for well over a year now since we stopped allowing hotlinking of those images. From Theme Options > Layout & Design you can set the background image again. You can get the specific missing image here: https://theme.co/media/bg-integrity-1.png

  2. This is a harmless warning that does not effect any functionality. It means there is a link on the page somewhere that can’t be used as a target for one page navigation.

Could you provide a bit more info on the slider issues you’re having? A link where we can see the problem first hand would help as well.

HI Alexander

Many thanks for getting back to me. Your background image suggestion worked, so thank you!.

The Inspect Element error relating to cornerstone and the layer slider (which i have since removed) but still getting the error, can be found on any page https://virtualprecision.co.uk

Basically layerslider stopped sliding. your shortcode won’t work and instead of showing the slider images, it simply shows the links as a slider :frowning:

Many thanks

Hi @colettedc7,

Yes, I could see that error in any page but as Alex said, it’s harmless since it’s just an image. Though, I still can’t find the layer slider in your provide URL (can’t find it in the source code). Would you mind providing the exact URL where layer slider isn’t working?

Thanks!

Rad … I am talking about … 2.cs-body.js:sourcemap:1 Invalid scrollspy selector #q=Virtual+Precision
(anonymous) @ cs-body.js:sourcemap:1
https://virtualprecision.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist/js/site/cs-body.js

this message is on every page.

if i add a slider of any kind (which i have now had to remove), then the sliders throw up RED warnings.

something is up with your cornerstone js code.

SOLVED: ok can close this now, this fix was implemented in this morning’s update.

Glad it’s sorted out.
