Hi, I’d like to replicate the navbar effect as seen in Integrity 1 where the navbar starts at the bottom of the screen and then moves up to the fixed position at the top of the screen as the user scrolls down. I’m working on the X Theme child theme - can you provide the css to enable this? Thanks.
Hi There,
Thanks for asking!
That effect doesn’t need custom CSS or JS. You need to make your menu bar as sticky.
Go to Dashboard -> X -> Theme Option -> Header make the nav bar fixed top.
Then create a revolution slider that you want to show before the nav bar.
And edit the page, use the slider before the header. In the slider setting above master-head section choose your slider and save the page.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Thanks, I’ll give that a go. As an alternative, how would I go about placing the navbar on the bottom of the screen i.e not beneath the revolution slider so that it then slides up on scroll?
Hi there,
The available option the theme is to place a Revolution slider or a layer slider. You can any way go with custom code with child theme. For that you need custom development which is out of our theme support scope.
Thanks for understanding!
Thanks, I’ll add some custom css via the child theme.
Hi there,
If you want to have the same effect as the Integrity stack where the Revolution slider is above the menu, please do the following:
- Create a slider and set the slider as a Fullscreen slider in Slider Settings > Slider Layout.
- Edit the page you have created then set the slider in the Slider Settings : Above Masthead.
- Go back to Revolution Slider settings and find the I
ncrease/Decrease Fullscreen Height (Optional)
then set.masthead
there,
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the update, I’ll give that a try.
Let us know if that works!
