I would like to made the post area - I believe it listed as “entry-wrap” as the class - full width on the page.
Meaning - the content appears as a box with a drop shadow.

I’d like to remove the outer box and simply have it extend across the page.

I don’t want the content boxed

is “entry-wrap” the part that would need to be modified?
If so, how so it appears full width on every page?

Hi there,

Please try setting the Site Layout option to Fullwidth in X > Theme Options > Layout and Design.

It was initially set as that - see screenshot. Am I missing another option?

Please edit your page and select the page template as “Blank - No Container | Header, Footer”.

Thank you! That was it. Is there a way to make that the default across any further pages created on the site?

Thanks for updating the thread.

Actually, as of now that has to be done on the individual page level. You can use custom CSS to make the effect global but we won’t recommend that as it might cause compatibility issues going further.
