Installed SSL and Site still not secure

I just installed SSL, it seems somewhere the site is loading reference to deleted images after the migration. I migrated today to a new host.

I saw all those images and remove them from WordPress and I don’t know where is text referencing to them. I think this is why my site is not 100% secure. I checked on the admin pages and it looks good.

Please advice, https://dynamicscrmpro.com

Thank You!

Hi @jpandino,

Thanks for writing in.

I am not expert with SSL or site securities however I could say that it is great that you are very careful in regards to your site security. The images or reference text loaded because of caching. You could follow below to know what step to make your SSL migration complete.

  1. You will have to update all of the URL on the site to serve the https URL.

Install Better Search and Replace

Then please search for http:\/\/dynamicscrmpro.com and update it to https:\/\/dynamicscrmpro.com.

  1. Purge site and browser caching. Contact also you hosting to purge any hosting caching.

Let us know how it goes,

Thanks.

that didn;t work, why the theme is calling those files on the home page

Hello There,

When you first install WordPress, you did not set it in the settings, Settings > General > Site URL and in Settings > General > WordPress Address URL to use https. As a result, all the images upload and inserted in your posts and pages where simply using http. Install an SSL plugin does not guarantee and change the links of images inserted to the posts and pages. What you can do to resolve this is to do a full link audit by checking the settings and doing a search and replace in your site. If Better Search and Replace plugin did not work for you, you can make use of the search feature of the WP Migrate DB plugin. If you may, you can give us the access to your site so that we can resolve the issue for you in anyway we can.

Thank you.

I installed the plugin, not sure how it works I need your help, credentials on the secure note. Thank you

Hello There,

It turns out that the following images were not uploaded in your new domain name and it is coming from another server path. Please upload this images again in your Media Library. Once uploaded, you can replace the path by a search for http://123.456.678.90 and replace it with your domain http://example.com.

Hope this helps.

Could you restore them from the Trash? Is it possible>

There’s no way to delete this reference? In which file do you see this call?

Hi @jpandino,

The images is generated on your text widget. Widget > Header 1

Hope it helps.

Thanks.
