X Themes won’t upload to my themes on wordpress. I have tried manually uploading it via File Manager as well, and (after locating the correct x folder) it simply says “No files found for upload”. I am at a loss.

If you have downloaded the full zip file of X from your Envato account, please try to check and unzip the file first and you should get the x.zip file which is the installable file that you can use in Appearance > Themes.
In case you want to install it manually, please check that you have the correct x folder then login through FTP and go to wp-content/themes then upload the x folder theme.
In case you are still having troubles installing X, please provide the admin and FTP details of your site in a Secure Note.
