Instagram Feed Crops When Resizing

hi

I have an Instagram Feed setup as. Global Block and have that added to my homepage. The only issue appears to be that when the screen is resized, the feed gets cropped rather than resizing. I know the feed is a 3rd party plugin, so am not after support about the content or styling of it, simply assistance as to why it is not resizing as it should when the scree size changes

I have max width and min width set to 100% and the global container off

cheers

Hi @guybower1,

I can see the instagram feed. It is crop because there is a set width on your carousel. 250px. Changes depending on screen size. Once screen size is not divisible by 250px(feed set image size), it will be crop. Note this is a carousel. This is how carousel normally works. When the container is not enough, part of it is hidden. Once you scroll to left you can see the whole image.

Hi Lely

Thanks so much for that reply

Can you tell me where this is set, as all of the global block elements, Row & Column are 100%? The same where the Global Block is placed, it is all 100%. I cannot find a single element that shows a width of 250px.

Even just the settings in the plugin themselves are all 100% and also checking through Google Development Console, I clicked through each element and cannot for the life of me find where 250px is set

I’d dearly love to find where this is set so I can change it to have it full width.

Thanks so much in advance

Lely, are you possibly saying that is a limitation of the actual carousel setting in the plugin? I changed it to Grid and with width still set to 100%, it did this

So again, with both the row and column in global block set to 100% width and the same where the global block is placed, it has now shrunk to this.

Mmm! I guess I will be seeking some customer support from the plugin developer

Thanks so much

In the end, I deleted the global block it was placed in and simply put the shortcode into a raw element straight into the page, without using a global block. Now it is fine. Not sure what was causing it, but it is now 100% and resizes perfectly

Thanks so much Lely
