Instagram Feed broken with Essentials Grid

Hello,

Our Essential Grid Instagram feeds have broken on multiple websites and I have not been successful in resolving this.

This has been working fine for months on this site and much longer on our other sites.

I have disabled all plugins and tested with Twentytwenty theme and it still doesn’t work. Caching plugin has been disabled as well.

As you can see, the page exists under “lostorosmexicanrestaurant”.

Here is our Essential Grid Setup.

Please assist us with fixing this.

Micah

Hi @micahkritzman,

We received other reports on this so this could be a new bug with the Essential Grid plugin or there are changes in Instagram API.
We have already reported to the Essential Grid developers.

Till any solution comes, you can try with The Grid instead of Essential Grid.

Hope it helps.

Thanks

Yes, I found threads of you acknowledging the break however this has been broken for well over 4 weeks now and this is now the third time in the past year this plugin has broken with Instagram. Why do you keep offering a plugin that is breaking?

And why should I have to go rebuild a dozen+ websites from Essential Grid to The Grid? If X Theme wants to pay for my labor then I would be happy to do this. But… We all know you won’t so now what?

I’ve put my eggs into the X Theme basket and even bought a developers license. If your tools are not reliable how can I continue to use your theme for my clients projects?

Micah

Hello Micah,

This is a known issue on the plugin. We already have inform the creators if the plugin. Please understand that the Essential Grid is a bundled plugin. Yes, we handle the support for this plugin since it is bundled in the theme. Any bugs and errors of the plugin will have to be fix by the creators of the plugin. We do not have any hold over the codes of the plugin. We can only recommend and discuss any bugs to the creators. The final release lies on the creators of the plugins.

Thank you for your understanding.

Please let us know when an update to fix this issue will be pushed out.

Thank you.

I would like to see if there us an update as well. It has been a while since this has worked. I have disabled all caching plugins. Any help would be appreciated!!
