Inserting search bar on non-cornerstone content blog page

I am using the non-cornerstone page for a dedicated blog page to display post and would like to add a search bar on this page. What is the easiest method? I really like how the default page content looks versus using the cornerstone.

Looking forward in hearing your thoughts?

Phil

Hello Phil,

Thanks for writing in! Since the page was not created in Cornerstone, the only way you can add a search box is to add a search widget on the sidebar or enable the search icon in the menu. You can go to Appearance > Widgets to add a search widget to the Main Sidebar widget area. You may also go to X > Theme Options > Header > Search and enable it.

Hope this helps.
