Insert Containers

It has been a long journey to learn how to build a WP site. How do I insert containers in the attached, to the left of the Email sign up ?

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site it seems that you have already added this signup form on the footer container bar and the form is aligned in the center. In case you want to style or design the form please let us know so that we can advise you.

My question: I need to insert a NEW container to the left of the Email, so I can add text. It forgot how to add a new container to that bar. (Do you see the long line of text on the bottom? That is what I want to move to a new container in the same bar as the email signup. Thanks.

Hi Ami,

I went ahead and added a Row to the Container and set the width to 100%. And then set the Layout of the Row to 3 Column and move the Text element with the form in the second column, to make that center.

Now, you can add any element into the First column i.e. left to the form.

So a container needs to be added to a row and cannot be added directly to a bar, correct?

Hi Ami,

You don’t need to add container to add the Text element. You can add that into the left column. The Row can be added to the Container which serves your purpose.
