Insert an image into a page and the source is a featured image from another page

I would like to insert an image into a page and the source of the image should be a featured image from another page. How can I achieve this with Cornerstone?

Hi Mardas,

If you have set the image as a Featured Image of the page already, that image should already be uploaded in the Wordpress media library so if you are in Cornerstone, if you add a V2 Image or Classic Image element, you should be able to pick the featured image from the media library.

I am asking because your suggested way (which is obvious) is something I am trying to avoid.

In case an featured page of one linked page would be changed, all the cross-page links with an image must be changed manually as well. The Cornerstone provides the function to insert a featured page of a blog post but I do not see any way to insert an image from a featured image of another page.

I hope this is possible.

Hello Mardas,

You can insert an image element into your page and then use dynamic content.

1.) Hover over the image source filed and find the dynamic content icon.

2.) Select the Featured image:

3.) And then select which post:

This feature will only apply to posts and not on pages.
