<input type="range"> on x-off-canvas-content doesn't work on iOS

Hi there,

I have a small issue with your x-off-canvas-content feature on my search results page. We have a filtering function in this content, and in the Filter there is a Range Slider. This range slider works well on all devices, but not on iOS. And outside of this x-off-canvas-content it does work as expected. Do you maybe know why? You can see it live here:

https://ireloca.com/en/search-results/?address[0]=Kaiserweg%2012,%206352%20Ellmau,%20Österreich&post[0]=product&post[1]=product&distance=100&units=metric&per_page=10&lat=47.523744&lng=12.298443&form=7

Best way to test the difference is to have an actual ipad. In landscape mode this filtering is in the Wordpress sidebar, here it works. In portrait (or any iphone) it loads through the x-off-canvas and there the slider doesn’t work at all.

please let me know if you can help.

Hi Max,

I guess you’re using this plugin: https://geomywp.com/.

You’re having an issue with a third party plugin. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X/Pro theme will need to be directed to the original developer.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Thai,

This is incorrect. As mentioned before, the slider works absolutely fine on ios devices when i am NOT using the x-off-canvas-content feature. Meaning, this feature (native PRO Theme Feature) is in fact causing the issue.
Please have a look into this again, and please tell me why it is not possible to use a range slider within your own x-off-canvas-content feature on ios devices.

Thanks for your reply

Hey @maxpage91,

I checked the page you’ve posted in iOS and tested range slider. By not working, I believe you mean the range slider does not slide? That is because that’s what I experienced.

I tried a simple range slider and it still does not work. Regretfully, I have no means to troubleshoot the cause of that so I’ll post this in our issue tracker so our development team would be made aware of this case.

For now, please try other input fields.

Thanks.
