Inline slider carousel stops interval after scrolling or swiping on mobile

Reference: https://beta.cheshiredave.com/headshots/

It has taken me forever to get to the point where I can get the slides to work the way I want in my inline slider (getting slides of different widths to play together is so much more difficult than it should be), but at least I seem to have finally gotten there.

The current problem: now I’ve encountered some odd behavior with the slider on mobile (iPhone 13 Pro Max running both mobile Safari and Chrome).

If I scroll past the slider on mobile and then scroll back to the top, the carousel has stopped and won’t start again. I have it set to interval autoplay with drag activated so that users can swipe on mobile.

Similarly, if I swipe through the slides, after I stop swiping the carousel no longer autoplays.

Hope you can provide some clues to make this behave correctly.

Thanks!

Hi Cheshire,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked it in my local environment and was able to replicate the issue. I suspect this might be a bug in the recent version of Theme. I will add this to our Issue Tracker for further investigation by our development team.

Thanks

Thanks, Tristup – always at least a little relief to know something isn’t just me. Thanks for passing on the info to the team.

You are most welcome @cheshiredave
