Inline Global block Elements turn Block-level in Header Builder

Hi!

I have created two buttons in Global blocks, that are staying one next to the other.

However, when I place their Global Block shortcode into the Header Builder’s text widget, they are no longer next to each other, but rather one on the top of the other. So the Global Block view is not translated into the Header Builder exactly.

I need this approach because of the MemberPress Show/hide capabilities.

Is it possible for the Global Block Content to be shown in the Header Builder just like it is originally made?

Thanks!

Hi Misho,

Thanks for reaching out.

May I know the site has this issue? And how do I reproduce this on my end? I can’t seem to replicate this on my installation. Does it use columns or just inline elements added to the same column?

I’d like to know more about this issue to see if this is a bug. But my guess is due to flex layout since the header uses flex layout instead of standard layout columns.

Thanks!

Hi!

I have noticed that sometimes it works, but sometimes it fails to render properly. I ended up creating two separate header text boxes, instead of having two buttons in a GB shortcode in a single box. I don’t have the old setup anymore as deadline is approaching.

Thanks!

Hi,

Glad you were able to find an alternative solution.

Have a great day!
