I have just installed the infusion soft plug in and added the widgit to the wordpress widgit area but it wont work. I have been through their help and its not helping.
Is there any known issues adding this to the website?

There is no such known issue related to Infusion soft Plugins. If you can confirm which plugin you are using in your site so that we can have a look.
Seems they have two official and lots of nonofficial plugins.
There is no such official plugin called Infusionsoft widget, please confirm so that we can test in our side.
Regarding your issue, can you please confirm if you have added the widget to the sidebar and the sidebar is activated in any page. The sidebar is coming fine but the particular widget is not coming.
Please confirm us the above details so that we can have a look. Also if you could provide us the login details in a secure note that will be good.
