Info Bar to only display once

Hi.

I have an info bar that tells the user that they will “Get 25% off your first order only.”

This is a once only deal. Displayed once. If they dont buy immediately, they will never get this offer again.

This info bar will be displayed when user goes to a page. This page slug is /mums-menu.

For the above reasons, i only want this info bar to display once, on that page, for ever.

It is not to be displayed when they click off that page, and come back to, it, or if they come back in a day/week/month etc.

I have set it to auto close after 4 seconds.

Now, the setp works perfectly. I just need to prevent the info bar from ever appearing again to that user.

Could you please advise?

Hello Max,

Thanks for reaching out. Are you using Convertplus plugin in displaying your Infobar? If that is the case, please edit your infobar and in your settings, set the Repeat Control to 365 days.

For Target Visitors, you have to turn ON for first time users:

Hi. Thanks for that. Yes, i do have those settings.

This infobar is displayed on the homepage.

So, at the moment, when a user clicks back on the home page, or returns to the homepage. (Has not closed the Cross icon, or been converted) they get the bar appearing again.

As you can imagine. second time time buyers dont want to keep seeing an infobar asking them if they are first time buyers.

Please have a look at this image, it is an infobar that loads at top of home page. I only want it to load once here. And once at the checkout page. Really, i guess what i am trying to say is if the user has seen this info bar once on home or /checkout, then via cookies they never see it again.

Thank you for the additional information of what you really want to happen. Regretfully this is beyond the limits of the capabilities of the plugin. As of this time, we only have this Repeat Control option.

The infobar does not have the ability to store and identify the first time buyers and the repeat customers. You may need to find other 3rd party plugin that displays Infobar with that functionality.
