Individual slide padding and border radius not working - not fixed after update

Hi there,

I’ve applied the latest Pro update, cleared cache, etc. but I still have the issue reported here.

Any advice/workaround would be welcome.

Hello @KEXINO,

Thanks for updating in!

I have investigated the issue and we cannot replicate it in our local testing servers. Kindly check out this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMbYvziIa0Q

Would you mind creating a staging site so we can troubleshoot your site again? I have a hunch that one of the 3rd party plugins or outdated plugins maybe causing the issue in your site.

Best Regards.

Thanks for getting back to me.

The original thread for my issue can be found here. You’ll note that I had tried disabling plugins, clearing local server and CloudFlare cache, etc. without any success.

SN with staging site login details is attached. Thanks.

Hello @KEXINO,

Thanks for sharing the staging login credentials. I am another staff member. I went ahead and added the slider where I added the padding and border radius on an individual slide, and it is working fine on my end. I have kept the page in draft mode. Please check the slider settings.

Thanks

Thanks. I agree the slider works on the staging site. But there’s still an issue on the production site.

If I create a new page, new section, new row, add a column, and throw an inline slider element in there, I have the problem.

If I now save this page, close it out, refresh the browser, then reopen the page I just created/saved (this is all in Cornerstone) the slider appears to work.

Please advise.

Hello @KEXINO,

In order to help you with your concerns, please share your live site admin credentials and exact test page URL so we can check it on our end.

Thanks

This was already provided to you in my original thread. Adding it again here.

Hello @KEXINO,

I have tested both on your staging, my local testing server and your main site. Only the main site displays the issue. Both my local testing server as well as the testing servers of my colleagues and your staging server was not able to replicate the issue. I am not sure what is causing the issue in your main site at the moment. We need to investigate the issue further.

Thanks.

Thank you. Please let me know if you need anything from me in the meantime.

Hey @KEXINO,

Sure, stay tuned.

Thanks!

Hi. Any update regarding this issue?

Hello @KEXINO,

Regretfully, there is no update at the moment; we are still investigating the issue.

Thanks for understanding

Sorry I’m not able to recreate this on my sites. If the issue doesn’t occur between staging I would try to figure out what the difference is there. Probably some plugin setting or hosting setting. I noticed on the live that after you save the changes to take place when you go the frontend. The preview just doesn’t display the changes correctly.

It’s not a plugin issue, as the problem is there when all plug-ins are disabled. Simply reading the threads would have shown this.

Very disappointing (non) ending for an issue I first reported at the beginning of July. Not the quality of support I’m used to getting from you guys. What a shame.

Hey @KEXINO,

My colleague also mentioned “hosting setting”. That is the most probably where the issue lies. Can you please site the differences between your live and staging sites? For example, is Cloudflare also working in your staging site? Please have your web host elaborate on the differences.

Thank you.

Staging and live sites are with the same host (wpengine).

wpengine has caching on live sites but not on staging sites. I have manually cleared all caches on the production site.

CloudFlare is only active on the live site, but even when I disable CloudFlare caching the issue is there. I mentioned this already in a previous exchange,

Please try deactivating Cloudflare all together not just caching.

That would mean changing nameservers. We do not have access to the client’s domain registrar.

Hi @KEXINO,

Do you have any other live site with another hosting that we can use to investigate? I have a hunch that this issue may only happen with the DQ Tech live site.

Thanks in advance.

Sure! We have live production sites on Siteground and Kinsta. We also have other live sites on wpengine, more than 30 in fact, and none of them have the issue.

Let me know what you’d prefer.
