Hi,
After updating wordpress, xtheme and cornerstone we are encountering a problem with editing through cornerstone. For each time we wish to edit a page we are sent to edit the landing page of our site, after which we can get to the page through the cornerstone but not through wordpress.
It appears that the root cause to this is that our permalinks hold /index.php/.
However if we remove this all our URL:s will be modified and backlinks be broken, right ?
I do not understand why all of the sudden this became a problem ? Is there any fix to this problem ?

Hi Anna,
Thank you for writing in, please make sure both X and Cornerstone are up to date (you can refer here), then clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Then navigate to Settings > Permalinks and just save without changing anything, this is to reindex permalinks.
If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

You have forgotten to send the URL of your site as well. I checked the URLs assigned to your licenses and the given credentials do not work. It could mean that you are having an issue on a different site. Please send the URL to us so we can log in and investigate your issue.

This is just a permalinks issue because when I change the permalinks to posts the cornerstone is now working fine and also the links are working as well.
